How surveilled do these eyes make you feel? Big, ominous eyes have been staring at Boston recently, during the annual Winteractive festival. But across the ocean, in Switzerland, another pair of eyes upped the surveillance vibe by watching, and tracking, passers-by.

Is this some sort of new minimalism? Minimal, with motors and an observer. You’d never call the artist SpY a minimalist, but… He kind of is, except he frequently uses motors. And then there's the anonymous observer.
